Talban Dawaki Celebrates APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on His 57th Birthday

August 8, 2025 – Abuja, Nigeria

Chief David Bitrus Barji, the Talban Dawaki, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, as he marks his 57th birthday today.
In a heartfelt message released on Friday, Chief Barji hailed Professor Yilwatda as a distinguished leader, a bridge between generations, and the captain of the Generation Next movement. He praised the APC National Chairman for steering the party's affairs with resilience, wisdom, and unwavering commitment at a pivotal time in the nation's democratic journey.

"My dear elder brother, our leader, the captain of Generation Next and chairman of the biggest political party in Africa, Happy 57th Birthday," Barji wrote.

He further described Professor Yilwatda as “a stabiliser of all ramifications,” commending his ability to balance humility with firmness, and professionalism with accessibility. According to Barji, these traits have made the APC leader not only a technocrat but also a respected political figure.

"It’s humbling for me to join all party faithful across the world in celebrating a man who has brought grit, a wealth of experience, and composure to the table," the statement read. "You have distinguished yourself as a professional and technocrat — humble yet tough when it matters."

Chief Barji concluded his message by toasting to more victories and prosperous years ahead for the celebrant. "On this, your special 57th birthday, I share with you, our leader, a toast to more victories and celebrations. On behalf of my family, friends, and associates, I wish you many more years in good health and vitality. Happy Birthday, Your Excellency — you have the assurance of our loyalty," he said.

Professor Yilwatda, who emerged as the APC National Chairman earlier this year, has been lauded for his visionary leadership and inclusive governance style, earning him admiration across party lines.
